Philippians 2:5-8
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death - even death on a cross.
What matters? What really matters? What does it take to really have the same mind that was in Christ? We are not invited to achieve this understanding because it is impossible, but are told to have the same mind because with the help of the Holy Spirit, it is in fact very possible! how much of your day is made up of your concerns, and how much of the day is about setting aside our concerns, becoming humble, and concentrating on God's Will?
