Zechariah 4:6
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

Why do we so often doubt? If WE don't raise enough money, the church will fail. If WE don't provide a ministry for singles, they will all turn from God. If WE don't do our VBS program exactly right, the children of the city will be lost for all time. Not by means that we consider strong, "not by might, nor by power", will God's kingdom be made real all over the world, but by trusting in God and relying on God's Holy Spirit as shown at Pentecost. When, even with the BEST of intentions, have we ever gotten in the way of God's Will by relying on what we considered mighty or strong? How can we consistenly learn to step back and "let go and let God"?
